Itinerary
Day 1
Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater
Start the morning with a guided cultural walk through the vibrant farming community of Mto wa Mbu (optional). Visit local markets, banana plantations, and Makonde carvers. After the walk and breakfast, drive back to Arusha, arriving by early afternoon.

Day 2
Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater
Drive time: ~3 hours
After breakfast, drive to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive, where you can see the Big Five, including lions, elephants, and the elusive black rhino.
Enjoy lunch at the hippo pool picnic site, then ascend to the crater rim for overnight.

Day 3
Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara National Park
Drive time: ~1.5 hours
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but scenic gem. Explore its dense groundwater forests, open plains, and soda lake, home to thousands of flamingos. Watch for tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, and hippos during your game drive.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Arusha
