Mountain Kilimanjaro Trekking

Mount Kilimanjaro, standing tall at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), is the highest peak in Africa and the world’s tallest free-standing mountain. Located in northeastern Tanzania, this majestic mountain offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience for adventurers, nature lovers, and those seeking to push their limits.

Unlike many other major peaks, no technical climbing skills are required, making it accessible to anyone in good physical condition with a strong spirit and determination.

Kilimanjaro National Park

Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park features diverse ecosystems — from lush rainforests to alpine meadows, and finally, the icy glaciers of the summit.

Trekkers will experience five unique climate zones:

1. Bushland Zone

2. Rainforest Zone

3. Heather and Moorland

4. Alpine Desert

5. Arctic Summit

Wildlife includes colobus monkeys, elephants, and a variety of birdlife.

Routes to the Summit

We offer multiple trekking routes, each with its own scenery, duration, and difficulty level:

Machame Route (7 Days)

• Known as the “Whiskey Route”

• Very scenic, popular, and challenging

• High success rate with proper acclimatization

Marangu Route (6 Days)

• Known as the “Coca-Cola Route”

• Only route with huts for accommodation

• Easier but lower success rate due to quick ascent

Lemosho Route (8 Days)

• Quiet, remote, and highly scenic

• Excellent for acclimatization

• Higher success rate due to longer duration

Rongai Route (6–7 Days)

• Approaches Kilimanjaro from the north

• Drier and less crowded

• Great for trekkers during the wet season

Umbwe Route (6 Days)

• Steep, direct, and very physically demanding

• Not recommended for beginners

• Rewarding for experienced climbers

Northern Circuit (9 Days)

• Longest and least crowded route

• Best for acclimatization and panoramic views

• Highest summit success rate
