Day 1
Arrival – Arusha City Welcome
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport. You’ll be welcomed by your Mahali Africa guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax or take a walking tour of Arusha City.

Day 2
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, home to Tanzania’s largest elephant population. Enjoy a game drive through baobab-studded landscapes, with sightings of elephants, lions, zebras, and more.
Cultural Add-On: Optional visit to a local beading women’s group after the game drive.

Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park + Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour
Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park — famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippos. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided cultural experience in Mto wa Mbu including:

Day 4
Drive to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Stop for panoramic views and optional visits to:

Arrive in Serengeti in time for a sunset game drive.

Day 5
Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti’s endless plains, tracking big cats, elephants, hippos, giraffes, and (seasonally) the Great Migration. Enjoy a bush picnic and take in the magic of the African wild.

Day 6
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, begin your journey back toward Ngorongoro, with wildlife viewing en route. Arrive at the crater rim before sunset.

Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – Return to Karatu
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a half-day game drive in one of the densest wildlife areas on Earth. Look for the Big Five, especially black rhinos and large lion prides.
After lunch, return to Karatu for an easy evening.

Day 8
Karatu – Departure (Optional Coffee Tour)
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha with an optional coffee tour stop in a nearby plantation. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or overnight stay.
