Itinerary
Day 1
Arusha Tarangire National Park
Journey time: ~2 hours | Activities: Game drive, wildlife photography
After an early breakfast in Arusha, your safari begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning baobab trees. The Tarangire River draws wildlife from across the park, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and over 300 bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park followed by an extended afternoon game drive.
By evening, head to your campsite near Lake Manyara or Mto wa Mbu for a freshly prepared hot dinner and overnight stay under the stars.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Journey time: ~3 hours to crater | Activities: Crater tour, wildlife viewing
Wake up early for a hot breakfast, then depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive in what is often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. This caldera hosts the Big Five, including a chance to spot the rare black rhino, as well as hippos, flamingos, hyenas, jackals, and countless antelope species.
Enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool picnic site, then ascend and return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
